My Story

I declared my college major on the last day possible. 50% of the fault was my own tendency to procrastinate, and the other half was my existential dread at not knowing which "career" path to take (psst-- it's just a major, bro). 

In the end, I boiled the decision down to a simple question: what school topics you like the most? An instant response: writing and reading. Don't believe me? I even named this section "my story" instead of "about me." 

After graduating UVA with an English degree, I started working at a startup called Consensus Digital Media in October of 2021. I've worked on all types of digital content, since, and it's mostly because I've always been willing to try (or learn) something new. 

At the risk of turning the rest of this section into a resume... I've written online articles, newsletters, and social media copy, helped create and manage a weekly podcast, built an automated no-code job board site, developed YouTube content and strategies, designed marketing graphics, and, most recently, created and pitched my own podcast idea to a network. 

To summarize: I love producing content. Whether it's writing an article about why a meme went viral, turning an idea for a YouTube series into reality, or learning how to edit audio in order to create a new podcast – I'm in (especially if it's about sports)!
